Currently on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor, the 29-year-old remains under contract with United until mid-2028. After losing his starting role earlier this season, Onana now aims to return stronger and reclaim his place.
At the beginning of the campaign, Altay Bay?nd?r was preferred in goal. However, the Turkish keeper is no longer part of United’s plans. Senne Lammens has since taken over as first-choice goalkeeper under interim manager Michael Carrick.
