Au stade municipal Afan Mabe de Kribi, l'Atlantic Sport Academy (ASA) a vécu une première journée en demi-teinte. Portés par leur public, les hommes de l'Océan ont pourtant ouvert le score par Siméon Pondi Nyeck à la 33e minute, méritant leur avantage à la pause. Mais l'Eding Sport FC de la Lekié, en outsider intelligent, a su rester dans le match. Les « Bidasses » ont réglé l'affaire en une mi-temps de haute intensité. Kevin Ndzana Mvondo et Anderson Lamere Teddy ont trouvé le chemin des filets, offrant une victoire nette et sans bavure (2-0) face à Ngoketunja United FA de Bamenda. À l'ouest, au stade de Bamendzi, le Racing de Bafoussam a connu une frustration palpable. Le score est donc resté vierge (0-0), un résultat mitigé pour les ambitions affichées du Racing, mais très satisfaisant pour le FC Yaoundé II qui ramène un point précieux de son déplacement.

Kribi: Atlantic SA Lets Slip Lead Against Eding Sport
At the Afan Mabe Municipal Stadium in Kribi, Atlantic Sport Academy (ASA) experienced a mixed opening day.
