C'était la finale qu'on attendait tous, celle qu'il fallait rejouer. Et ce dimanche après-midi à l'Annexe A d'Olembe, Mintack FC l'a jouée, et surtout, largement gagnée. Face à une Foudre Sportive d'Akonolinga qui promettait des étincelles, les Lions de la Haute-Sanaga ont tout simplement éteint la foudre. Score final sans appel : 3-0. Une démonstration de force et de maîtrise.
La première mi-temps, serrée, tactique, avait laissé planer le doute. Les hommes d'Akonolinga tenaient bon, verrouillant leur défense et contenant les assauts mintackois. On repartait pour la pause sur un score vierge et parfaitement équilibré (0-0). Mais visiblement, dans le vestiaire, le coach de Mintack a trouvé les mots justes. Les bons.
La seconde période fut un véritable one man show – ou plutôt one team show – mintackois. La machine offensive, huilée à bloc, est passée à la vitesse supérieure, laissant sur place une défense pourtant réputée solide.
Desmond Kameni a le premier fait trembler les filets, ouvrant le score et libérant son équipe (1-0). Marcel Onobiono a ensuite enfoncé le clou, consolidant la domination de son camp (2-0). Et comme pour sceller cette performance collective d'une autorité incontestable, Chenedu Kingsley est venu mettre la dernière touche à ce tableau de maître en inscrivant le troisième but (3-0).
À l'arbitre, c'est une raclée, une correction, un njakiri comme on aime les dire au Cameroun. La Foudre n'a jamais pu retrouver son éclat, foudroyée net par l'efficacité et la détermination des champions en titre.
Le trophée reste à domicile ! Mintack FC conserve son titre de champion régional du Centre. Une consécration qui envoie un message clair à tous leurs futurs adversaires : les Lions sont affamés et prêts à rugir sur la scène nationale.
Prochaine étape : le Tournoi Interpoules Yaoundé 2025. Mintack FC représentera fièrement le Centre dans la Poule A, basée à Odza. L'aventure continue, l'objectif grandit. Tout le Cameroun est prévenu.

It was the final everyone was waiting for, the one that had to be replayed. And this Sunday afternoon at the Olembe Annex A, Mintack FC not only played it but dominated it. Facing a Foudre Sportive d'Akonolinga team that promised sparks, the Lions of Haute-Sanaga simply shut down the storm. The final score was a decisive 3-0. A demonstration of power and control.
The first half was tight and tactical, leaving some room for doubt. Akonolinga's men held strong, locking down their defense and containing Mintack's assaults. The teams went into halftime with a blank and perfectly balanced scoreline (0-0). But clearly, the Mintack coach found the right words during the break.
The second period was a veritable one-team show by Mintack. Their well-oiled offensive machine shifted into a higher gear, leaving behind a defense known for its solidity.
Desmond Kameni was the first to ripple the net, opening the score and unleashing his team (1-0). Marcel Onobiono then drove the nail home, consolidating his team's domination (2-0).
