Avec ce nouveau sacre, le Maroc confirme sa suprématie dans la compétition et écrit une nouvelle page de son histoire dorée au CHAN. Une finale riche en rebondissements, où Madagascar sort grandi malgré la défaite, prouvant que les Bareas font désormais partie des grandes nations montantes du football africain.



 

CHAN 2024: Morocco crowned kings of Africa after thrilling 3-2 final win over Madagascar

Morocco clinched their third CHAN title on Saturday, defeating Madagascar 3-2 in a dramatic final.



Madagascar stunned the favorites early with Clavin Félicité Manohantsoa scoring in the 9th minute. Morocco responded quickly, with Youssef Mehri leveling the score in the 27th before Oussama Lamlioui put them ahead just before halftime.



Despite Madagascar’s equalizer from Toky Niaina Rakotondraibe in the 68th minute, Morocco’s class prevailed. Lamlioui struck again in the 80th minute to seal the win and his nation’s triumph.
