Vendredi, les choses ont bien démarré à Yaoundé avec deux confrontations maîtrisées :
- Fauve Azur Elite a signé une courte mais précieuse victoire 1-0 face à Stade Renard de Melong.
- Un peu plus tard, AS Fortuna a littéralement écrasé Victoria United (Opopo) 5-0, dans un match à sens unique.
Mais dimanche, les choses ont viré au surréaliste...
À Bépanda, si Union de Douala et PWD de Bamenda se sont neutralisés (0-0), le match Dynamo – Aigle du Moungo a tourné au cauchemar gastronomique. Les joueurs de l’Aigle, ayant consommé au “tourne-dos” un Eru, ont été victimes d’une intoxication alimentaire. Résultat : absence sur le terrain.
À Mbouda, une tentative de supercherie a été déjouée. Un groupe de jeunes joueurs, mobilisés à la dernière minute par des individus anonymes, a tenté de se faire passer pour les Bamboutos FC. Mais faute de licences valides, le match contre la Colombe du Dja n’a pas eu lieu.
À Garoua, Yong Sport Academy ne s’est pas présenté face à Gazelle FA, exigeant que la FECAFOOT paie les subventions dues avant tout retour en compétition. Une position désormais partagée par Bamboutos et Aigle du Moungo.
Sur le terrain, certains ne flanchent pas
