Speaking at the event,  Véron Mosengo-Omba, Secretary General of the CAF, expressed  their happiness partnering with PRUDENTIAL BENEFICIAL, given the two entities share common values which is  developing local talents as well as playing a vital role in the prosperity of the African continent.

Reacting to the partnership,  ERIC MBOMA, the Chief Corporate Affairs officer of PRUDENTIAL BENEFICIAL, said his Enterprise wants to touch, educate the populations on life assurance policies, and encourage individuals to live a more healthy life with full assurance. 'At Prudential, we view football as a potential instrument. The reason being that football is a game that unites millions of individuals around the world and makes them speak one language' Mr. Mboma added.



At the press conference in Douala, Prudential Beneficial also explained how the company intends to educate individuals including  establishing foundations in different areas and partnering with others like the Didier Drogba Foundation. In addition, NKWENTI HANDSOME BRAIN, the Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Beneficial Cameroon, says that the Enterprise also intends to carry out door-to-door sensitization campaigns and also in streets, where they have higher chances to get in touch with the populations. This as he says, will greatly convince inhabitants especially throughout the AFCON period.



Javier Olea, the Acting Marketing and Partnerships Director of the CAF, says in view of all the attributes of PRUDENTIAL, they could not but accept to partner with them and make PRUDENTIAL, the official sponsor of the tournament. As there's is a new football being born in Africa and having important partners is really necessary. So certainly, it is the beginning of what is going to be a long term partnership.



The  multinational life assurance company, also aims at signing other partnerships and helping people get the best out of life on daily basis and keeps on guaranteeing a life assurance to all its clients. For instance, PRUDENTIAL BENEFICIAL, gives more than 400 cheques to orphans every year for them to continue their education. This is because their parents signed a life assurance contract with PRUDENTIAL, before their demise.
