Abaissement de l’âge de la majorité électorale de 21 à 18 ans.

Indépendance de la justice et transformation de la Chambre des comptes en véritable Cour des comptes.

Un “Plan Marshall” pour l’économie
Bello Bouba Maïgari promet un Plan Marshall de 60 000 milliards FCFA pour relancer l’économie nationale. Objectif : créer des emplois, moderniser les infrastructures et soutenir les secteurs productifs.
Une vision de rupture
À travers ses propositions, le candidat de l’UNDP entend restaurer la mémoire nationale, en adoptant une loi en faveur des martyrs et héros du Cameroun.

Bello Bouba Maïgari, leader of the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP), laid out his vision for Cameroon during a press conference on Friday, August 8, 2025 in Yaoundé. The presidential candidate made it clear: he will not be an ally of outgoing president Paul Biya, positioning himself as a true alternative.
Among his key pledges:
- Repatriation of the remains of former President Ahmadou Ahidjo and those of his wife and daughter within the first six months.
- Reducing the presidential term from 7 to 5 years, renewable only once, with a double-ballot system.
- Lowering the voting age from 21 to 18.
- Inclusive dialogue to resolve the Anglophone crisis.
- General amnesty law for all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience.
- Independence of the judiciary and transforming the Audit Chamber into a true Court of Accounts.
- National debate on the form of the State.
