Le Maroc de Mohamed Wahbi mise sur un noyau dur et des jeunes loups
C'est fait ! Le sélectionneur national Mohamed Wahbi a dévoilé, ce jeudi 17 septembre, la liste des joueurs retenus pour les prochains rendez-vous des Lions de l'Atlas. C'était lors d'une conférence de presse tenue au complexe de football Mohammed VI à Salé.
Au menu : les premier et deuxième tours des qualifications africaines pour la phase finale de la Coupe d'Afrique des Nations 2027, plus un match amical de gala contre le Ghana à Tanger.
Dans sa liste, Wahbi a misé sur un savant mélange. D'un côté, le noyau dur de l'équipe nationale. De l'autre, une brochette de jeunes joueurs bien décidés à s'imposer dans le groupe. De quoi donner des sueurs froides à la concurrence.

Sans oublier le match amical contre le Ghana à Tanger, histoire de peaufiner les réglages avant les choses sérieuses.
L'Égypte de Salah et Marmoush veut frapper fort d'entrée
Du côté de l'Égypte, pas de round d'observation. Les Pharaons lancent leur campagne avec deux rendez-vous capitaux ce mois-ci. D'abord l'Angola le 25 septembre, puis le Soudan du Sud le 29 septembre.
Pour ces deux premières batailles, le sélectionneur a fait appel aux cadres habituels. Mohamed Salah et Omar Marmoush mènent la danse. Autour d'eux, une ossature solide qui évolue dans le championnat local et en Europe.

C'est officiel ! Hervé Renard, le sélectionneur de la Côte d'Ivoire, a rendu publique la liste des 25 Éléphants retenus pour la trêve internationale. Et le moins que l'on puisse dire, c'est que le programme est chargé.
Au menu : un choc ouest-africain face au Ghana le 24 septembre, un duel contre la Somalie le 29 septembre, puis une explication au sommet face au Mali le 3 octobre.
Pour aborder ce calendrier de feu, le staff technique a misé sur une ossature solide. Franck Kessié, Ibrahim Sangaré, Evan Ndicka ou encore Nicolas Pépé sont bien présents pour apporter leur expérience et guider le groupe.

Le sélectionneur de la Guinée a dévoilé sa liste pour les éliminatoires de la CAN 2027. Et il y a du changement. Le Syli National devra faire sans plusieurs figures fortes. Notamment l'ancien capitaine Naby Keïta, ainsi que les attaquants Morgan Guilavogui et Mohamed Bayo, tous absents de cette sélection.
Malgré ces absences de taille, le staff technique s'appuie sur un groupe compétitif mêlant expérience et jeunesse. Serhou Guirassy et surtout Ilaix Moriba, de retour après quelques mois d'absence, seront les leaders de cette équipe.

Dans le cadre des débuts des éliminatoires de la CAN 2027, le sélectionneur des Éperviers du Togo, Patrice Neveu, a animé ce mercredi une conférence de presse pour dévoiler la liste des joueurs retenus.
Le Togo lance sa campagne le 25 septembre au stade de Kegue avec la réception du Burundi. Avant d'effectuer son premier déplacement pour défier la Zambie le 29 septembre 2026.
