Cette sortie tonitruante confirme la stratégie de rupture adoptée par le camp Tchiroma, déjà exprimée par Me Emmanuel Simh, qui dénonçait l’inefficacité d’un recours devant une institution jugée inféodée au pouvoir en place.
Pour les partisans du FSNC, les procès-verbaux compilés sur le terrain suffisent à légitimer leur victoire, sans passer par le filtre du Conseil Constitutionnel. Une attitude qui illustre la crise de confiance profonde entre une partie de l’opposition et les institutions électorales camerounaises.
Dans un climat politique tendu et un pays suspendu aux résultats officiels, cette proclamation parallèle d’Issa Tchiroma comme “3e Président de la République du Cameroun” pourrait marquer un tournant explosif dans la séquence post-électorale.

Tension is rising within the camp of Issa Tchiroma Bakary, candidate of the Front for the National Salvation of Cameroon (FSNC). Speaking on Thursday, Anicet Ekane made a bold statement declaring that the people have already made their choice.
“We will not go to the Constitutional Council! The public results from the vote count are clear – Issa Tchiroma Bakary is the 3rd President of the Republic of Cameroon!”
This fiery declaration follows a similar stance expressed by Emmanuel Simh, another Tchiroma ally, who dismissed any appeal to a Council perceived as biased in favor of the ruling party.
For the FSNC, field results are enough to validate their victory without seeking institutional approval. But such a proclamation of victory ahead of official results adds new pressure to an already fragile post-electoral atmosphere in Cameroon.
