Manchester United were once again frustrated as they drew 1-1 with Fulham on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Craven Cottage in the second round of the Premier League.



Despite Fulham’s dominance (53% possession, 13 shots with 4 on target), United went ahead in the 58th minute. Bryan Mbeumo’s dangerous run led to Rodrigo Muniz deflecting the ball into his own net. Initially credited to Mbeumo, VAR later confirmed it as an own goal, denying the Cameroonian his first assist in England.



Fulham equalized in the 73rd minute through Emile Smith-Rowe, while Bruno Fernandes had missed a penalty earlier in the game.



Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana remained on the bench, looking visibly frustrated.



United sit 16th with just one point, while Fulham are 13th. Arsenal top the table with six points.
