Le journaliste italien Fabrizio Romano a mis fin aux rumeurs en déclarant sans détour :

« Les rumeurs sont complètement fausses. Ça n’arrivera pas. André veut RESTER à Manchester United. »



Du côté du clan Onana, le message est clair : le portier camerounais est pleinement engagé avec les Red Devils. S’il n’a pas figuré dans le groupe lors du choc face à Arsenal, ce n’est pas une sanction sportive ni une mise à l’écart stratégique.



Selon ses proches, l’entraîneur Ruben Amorim a simplement choisi de le préserver puisqu’il revient de blessure. Une décision acceptée sans amertume par l’international camerounais, convaincu qu’elle n’a aucun rapport avec son avenir.



Pour l’instant, André Onana veut écrire son histoire à Old Trafford, loin des rumeurs de transfert.
