Group A of the CHAN 2024 delivered its verdict this Sunday after the final matches. Kenya and Morocco secured the top two spots and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Kenya confirmed their leadership with a narrow 1-0 victory over Zambia, finishing with 10 points (3 wins, 1 draw). Morocco, on their part, defeated DR Congo to claim second place with 9 points.
For DR Congo, the dream ended abruptly as they finished third with 6 points, missing out on qualification. Angola (4 pts) and Zambia (0 pt) complete the group standings.
