Jefter Arrey, capitaine du club ISOHSA, a été violemment agressé par l’arbitre central Bomba Martin lors d’un match sous haute tension contre APEJES de Mfou.
Le match a rapidement basculé dans le chaos. Tout commence par un penalty accordé à APEJES, que l’équipe transforme sans trembler. Peu après, une altercation éclate entre les joueurs. L’arbitre expulse Richard Samekomba d’Isohsa. En guise de protestation, les joueurs d’Isohsa s’assoient sur le terrain.
Mais le plus révoltant est à venir. Le capitaine Jefter Arrey, après s’être brièvement rendu sur le banc de touche de son équipe, reçoit un carton rouge pour avoir quitté le terrain sans autorisation, selon l’arbitre. C’est alors que l’impensable se produit : en pleine dispute verbale avec les joueurs d’Isohsa, l’arbitre Bomba Martin donne un coup de tête à Jefter Arrey.
Dans un message posté sur les réseaux, le club dénonce une injustice flagrante :
« Notre seul crime est d'avoir dit non à la corruption », peut-on lire sur les canaux officiels d’ISOHSA.

Another dark day for Cameroonian football. ISOHSA’s captain, Jefter Arrey, was brutally headbutted by referee Bomba Martin during a heated clash with APEJES of Mfou.
The match spiraled into chaos after a controversial penalty awarded to APEJES. After the goal, tensions flared, leading to the sending-off of ISOHSA’s Richard Samekomba. In protest, ISOHSA players staged a sit-down on the pitch.
Then came the incident that left fans and officials speechless. Captain Jefter Arrey, after momentarily visiting the bench, was shown a red card for allegedly leaving the field without permission. As tempers flared, referee Bomba Martin headbutted the captain in an unprecedented act of violence.
ISOHSA reacted strongly on social media, stating:
“Our only crime is saying no to corruption.”
Once again, serious concerns are being raised over referee conduct in Cameroon’s football system. When will accountability become the norm?
