L’homme fort de YOSA y annonçait le retrait pur et simple du club du championnat, en dénonçant l’absence de versement des subventions fédérales promises par la Fecafoot.

Dans sa missive, Emma Mima ne mâche pas ses mots : "Comment continuer un championnat où les clubs n’ont ni subventions, ni primes, ni moyens de déplacement ? Nous n’avons pas été entendus. Nous ne jouerons plus." Un cri de colère qui résonne fort alors que plusieurs clubs d’Elite One vivent une précarité chronique.
La Fecafoot face à un dilemme
La commission d’homologation et de discipline de la Fecafoot est désormais sur le dossier. Selon les règlements, l’absence répétée d’un club peut entraîner un forfait général, accompagné d’une relégation de deux divisions. Si cette sanction est appliquée, YOSA, déjà lanterne rouge avec 16 points (-17) après 21 journées, pourrait disparaître du paysage professionnel pendant longtemps.

Mima’s message was clear and damning: “How do you expect us to continue competing without grants, bonuses, or transportation means? We’ve cried out enough. No one is listening. We are done.” His words echo a broader frustration shared by several Elite One clubs grappling with financial instability.
Possible Forfeit and Double Relegation
The ball is now in the court of the Fecafoot Homologation and Disciplinary Commission, which must decide the fate of the no-show. According to league rules, repeated absences may lead to a general forfeit, which carries the heavy penalty of relegation by two divisions.
YOSA’s situation is already dire: they sit bottom of the table with just 16 points (-17 goal difference) after 21 matchdays.
