Cameroun - Nécrologie. Musician Jacob Nguni passes away
Another big loss for the Cameroonian music after demise of Lapiro de Mbanga and Guy Lobe in less than two years.

The news came as a bombshell when the death of Jacod Nguni was confirmed during the early hours of Sunday, April 26, 2015.
According to his sister, Doudou Teclaire Ngoule, the famous guitarist passed away from an illness in a hospital in the state of Maryland, his place of residence in the United States of America.
This commendable son of Kumba in the South West Region of Cameroon built his reputation by collaborating with renowned singers like the late Prince Nico Mbarga.
The connection between Prince Nico Mbarga, Lapiro and Jacob Nguni goes back to when Nguni was the Lead Guitar (soloist) of RockafilJazz with many hits that won unending fame on the continent.
This started with the debut of ‘Sweet Mother’ (one of the success of Nico Mbarga). He was the guitar mastermind. The Ndinga man also collaborated with Mougoué Mathias in a tribute some time back to Lapiro de Mbanga who was also a friend to Jacob Nguni.
