In his last official outing, the president of the Normalisation Committee of Fecafoot, Joseph Owona on Tuesday September 29, inaugurated the office of the Centre regional football league at Omnisport in Yaounde. Speaking during the ceremony, Joseph Owona said he was at the beginning and the end of the project as he is the one as minister of sports who gave the piece of land to the league to construct the office. Also, he is the one as president of the Normalisation Committee who was inaugurating the building. He said the construction of the building was part of an infrastructural development project which he hoped the new president of Fecafoot would continue. He said similar offices were being built in Bertoua and other Regional capitals.

The president of the Centre Regional league, Saint Fabien Mvogo thanked the football authorities for the building saying it has come as a relief as at first the league had no office. “Today, we can proudly show this magnificent building as our office,” he said. He congratulated Professor Owona for organising the most transparent election at Fecafoot promising that he will never disappoint his electorate. The ceremony was also marked by the cutting of the symbolic ribbon and a guided tour through the building. Prominent among those present, was the president elect, Tombi A Roko.
